Workshops
Motivation Workshops
These will create a positive spirit for the following week. The aim of these workshops is to encourage young people to undertake the action by themselves, to participate in different projects and discussions about the global issues, (for example sustainable development), and spread the idea of youth-led work. The exact workshops are yet to be discussed.
Info Workshops
These will focus on introducing some basic issues of youth led development: MDGs, funding organizations or institutions (Youth, EU…). The current trends in youth-led projects and programmes will be introduced as well. Special focus will be put on the new EU-YOUTH programme, particularly the extended EVS which can be done in third-world-countries.
Skills Workshops 1
The participants will have the opportunity to learn important and essential skills for their projects. These include fundraising, PR and advertising, management, networking, lobbying etc.
Skills Workshops 2
Additionally, there will be more relaxing workshops happening at the same time as the SK1. We believe that some skills for organizing the leisure time activities might be of a big help for the leaders, because fun and relaxing time is equally important at the events like this as the work itself. These workshops will be about organizing evening programme, theatre, (ice-breaking) games, juggling, music, magic or the skill of how to throw a cake in the right way.
